This is a free, in-person event, but RSVPs are required.  Here are the details:

Celebrating the Completed Restoration at Minnekirken

• 11am - Church service followed by remarks from:

  • Susan Meyer, Norwegian Honorary Consul, 

  • Carlos Ramirez-Rosa, 35th Ward Alderman,

  • Daniel Klaiber, Historic Preservation Dept at the City of Chicago.

• 12 am - Catered lunch from Ørkenoy with baked salmon, meatballs, potatoes, vegetable medley, and salad.  Tre Kronor will provide cheese and herring.  Marzipan cake and coffee will be served for dessert.

• 1 pm - Concert by the local Scandinavian folk ensemble, Chicago Spelmanslag.

 

Parking will be available in the city lot in front of the church and there is limited parking behind the church.  Stop by the church for a pass to park in these spots and for the surrounding neighborhood side streets.
